Chris J. Cabler, M.D. is a native Houstonian and fifth generation Texan. He obtained his M.D. degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed four years of internship and residency at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston where he specialized in Ophthalmology (Eye M.D.) Dr. Cabler’s practice is located at 5555 W. Loop South, Suite 150. His center, The Laser Vision Center, provides a comfortable setting for state-of-the-art LASIK evaluation and testing. Dr. Cabler also provides comprehensive eye care for the entire family as well. Dr. Cabler is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, The International Society of Refractive Surgery and the Texas Ophthalmological Association as well as Harris County Medical Society. He is currently Medical Director of The Laser Eye Institute of Houston, the largest LASIK center in Texas. Dr. Cabler has been providing individualized, personal eye care to his patients in the Houston area for over twenty-five years. During his career he has performed thousands of microsurgical procedures as well as over two thousand laser surgical procedures.
